Wynnville Halt railway station

Wynnville Halt was a small railway halt located on the Shrewsbury to Chester Line less than a mile north of Ruabon station in Wales. It was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1934, to serve the newly built Wynnville housing estate, as part of its programme of opening halts to combat emerging competition from bus services.

Burrastow

Burrastow is a location on the west shore of Vaila Sound near the village of Walls on the Shetland Mainland, Scotland. There are two small piers and the imposing 18th-century Burrastow House. To the east is the bay of Lera Voe and the two small islets of Holm of Breibister and Holm of Burrastow. To the south is Wester Sound, which lies between the mainland and Vaila. The rocky coast contains numerous caves, geos and skerries. Otters and seals are commonly seen offshore.

The Claymore oil field is located in Block 14/19 on the United Kingdom's Continental Shelf. It is 161 km (100 mi) northeast of Aberdeen in the Central North Sea. It is a very rocky hill with high topographic prominence because of the lower land that surrounds it on all sides, and qualifies as a Marilyn. Y Traeth

Y Traeth is a multi-use stadium in Porthmadog, Wales. It is currently used mostly for football matches as the home ground of Porthmadog F.C. The stadium has a capacity of 3000 people, with 500 seated. The Traeth saw its largest crowd in recent years during the season 1993/4, when the last game of the season against Bangor City F.C. attracted more than 2,500 spectators.

Tremadog

Tremadog is a village in the community of Porthmadog, in Gwynedd, north west Wales; about one mile (1.6 km) north of Porthmadog town centre. It was a planned settlement, founded by William Madocks, who bought the land in 1798. The centre of Tremadog was complete by 1811 and remains substantially unaltered. Tremadog hosted an unofficial National Eisteddfod event in 1872.

Portmadoc, Beddgelert and South Snowdon Railway

The Portmadoc, Beddgelert and South Snowdon Railway (PB&SSR) was a 1 ft 11+1⁄2 in narrow gauge railway intended to connect Porthmadog with the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways link terminus at Rhyd Ddu. Although some of the line was constructed between 1901 and 1906, it never opened and eventually became part of the Welsh Highland Railway.
